Sourced from a former rectory in Somerset. The table bears the stamp of a Bristol workshop active in the 1860s–1880s.
A substantial refectory dining table in quarter-sawn English oak, seating eight comfortably. The thick plank top shows the natural character of the timber with subtle medullary rays visible across its surface. Supported by a robust trestle base with chamfered stretchers and pegged tenon joints throughout. This is a table built to last centuries — and it has.
