Acquired from the original owner in Edinburgh. Purchased new from Heal's in 1962.
A clean-lined sideboard in warm teak with three sliding doors concealing adjustable shelving and a single bank of felt-lined drawers. The tapered legs and minimal brass pulls are hallmarks of Scandinavian-influenced British design from the early 1960s. The timber has developed a beautiful honey tone. An extremely versatile storage piece that bridges mid-century and contemporary interiors.
